Has anyone ever had a water softener that has sediment build up from the well cause the pump saver to shut their well off. I've had the well guys out and they said it was fine. I noticed a lot of sediment in my water recently and that's another possibly I'm thinking is causing this?

Pump savers are generally for short cycling. Do you by chance have a water logged air over water tank?

I have had them go out as well so it's absolutely possible you just have a bad pump saver.

That is what I thought but I have had the well guy out twice and he said it is fine. The water softener causing the problem really doesn't make sense why that would it would effect the pump saver but I just can't figure out why this keeps tripping. I guess I will just bypass the water softener for a bit and see what happens. It's our ranch house so I am in not a huge deal but it sure is nice not to have to jack with the well.

Yeah, that's all I would know to do. Just bypass it and see if that solves the problem.
