Purchased our home and had Vivint cameras/security system installed. Do not go with Vivint in my opinion. Closed system so all repairs/installs/etc required them to come out (significant trip charge cost) and they always wanted to upsell equipment. Well my contract finally expired and they were horrible about letting my service be terminated (just kept trying to negotiate a deal to keep me when I was very clear that in no way did I want any service from them and just wanted my service cancelled).

So Im looking to change out to a new system with doorbell camera, 2-3 outdoor cameras, probably a home panel (mostly will control through the app but if I have family come they need a panel to turn off the alarm). Ive used alarm.com for a rent house but Im looking at Eufy expert secure system e10. Anybody have any experience with Eufy or another security system that they would recommend or avoid.

Hard-wired Reolink with nvr would be my pick

I've been very happy with Ring. It's simple, and it works.

Im using Ring at my office. Installed a new spotlight/camera and it has really great image quality.

I would like to use the existing POE wiring to connect the new cameras that I install in the locations of existing cameras.

Reolink can do what you want. Be careful of the kind you buy because they have a system that only works with their NVR system and another that will work with any ONVIF compatible NVR. The Reolink picture quality isn't quite as good as Amcrest. The R cameras will get choppy with motion too. If you're looking for good low light performance, Amcrest is the tits. I turned off the infrared lights and it looks almost like daytime still. Amcrest is really the best I've used.

+1 for Reolink

Have PoE cameras, doorbell, and NVR with zero issues. Most importantly, my wife has never complained about it either and says it's easy to use.

I've been using Reolink POE for years and happy with it. Got a couple cameras to upgrade.

For a single unified and integrated system with cameras and other hardware/keypads/window sensors..and a good app interface that can all be controlled on your phone, I think Ring is hard to beat.
