I know, I know...chimney sweep in SA seems like a joke, but we actually use our fireplace pretty regularly when it's colder.

Anyone have a service they've used? I feel like there was an Aggie-owned company I ran across years ago but could be making that up. Also need them to touch up some of the mortar on the interior of the chimney.

No, you are correct. There was an Aggie chimney guy. But google says permanently closed. Sorry, but I don't have any chimney contacts.

I used Wolfman a year or so ago and I would stay away from them. They gave me an initial estimate to do a few repairs but then called the next day and said the whole fireplace needed to be replaced. I had another company come out and said "there's not a dang thing wrong with your fireplace".

I recommend Capital Chimney in New Braunfels. I don't know if he'll travel to SA but he's honest and a straight shooter. Highly recommend. Wolfman told me my whole fireplace needed to be replaced. Capital Chimney pointed out a few cosmetic things and told me how to fix it.
