Good morning-
I spend the majority of my time on the Outdoor Board (I'm the unofficial resident private investigator) but wanted to share this here. In my spare time I volunteer with The Fallen Outdoors Team Texas. We are a nationwide nonprofit and our goal is to get veterans, active duty and Gold Star family members into the outdoors for free hunting trips, fishing trips and other outdoor activities. All of our staffers nationwide are veterans or current active duty military and we are all unpaid volunteers.

Team Texas is having their 2nd annual banquet and this is our biggest fund raising opportunity to fund our mission, as we are 100% dependent on donations (monetary, hunts, land access, equipment, etc). This is a family friendly event and it will be held at the Circle C Ranch in Flower Mound, TX on Saturday August 23rd, beginning at 5:00pm.

This is our major fundraiser to get our veterans, active duty military and Gold Star family members into the outdoors for much needed therapy with like minded individuals. there will be food, live auctions, silent auctions, raffles and a very special guest speaker, Army SSG (retired) Shilo Harris, Purple Heart recipient and author. If you cannot attend there are also sponsorship opportunities as well as donation opportunities to assist us with our mission."

you do not have to be a veteran or military to attend.

Last year we had some pretty good trips up for grabs in the live auctions and raffles. 4-person Nilgai & fishing trip. 4-person South African Safari, multiple firearms including a CheyTac M200, a Winchester gun safe, ammo, art work, knives, custom BBQ pits & fire pits, etc. This year should be just as good.

Is it possible for those who can't attend to purchase raffle tickets on line?
I know I would be in for a few.

As a veteran, I appreciate the organization's and your efforts..

I will ask our committee board if they are doing that this year. I know it was discussed in the feedback from last year's banquet.

They said that option isn't available this year. They want all winners to be present.

Apologies
