There is literally a recipe for a margarita.

Two parts tequila
One part triple sec (or Cointreau if you want it to be good)
One part lime juice
Salt rim

Boom. Now let's see all the sugary lime daiquiri recipes.

I've been big on Tommy's Margarita recently. Recipe used to highlight a good quality tequila.

2oz tequila
1oz lime juice
.5 oz agave syrup (double it if you use agave nectar)

This is how I make mine. I like it better without the triple sec.

I stick to a very basic classic margarita. 2 parts blanco tequila, one part Cointreau, one part lime juice. Pour it all together over ice and shake it within an inch of it's life.

Looks like I go heavier on tequila than most. 3 parts Tequila, 2 parts Gran Marnier, 1 part lime juice.

I usually just just a bunch of limes into the shaker on a zeroed out scale. Then double/triple the other ingredients. No dirtying a measuring cup or any other utensils that way.

1 can Minute Maid limeade
1 can tequila
1/2 can triple sec
Ice

Blender

Might not be the fanciest but it's a crown pleaser.

This has been my go to forever for frozen. Everyone always loves it. I've had people try to make it at home with the store-brand limeade, and it's just not as good.

Man, those were the days! We used to make this exact recipe when I was in high school and college. Ahhh, simpler times. Nowadays it's a more refined marg, but not as fun.

1/2cup lime juice(fresh squeezed) + 4 tablespoons zest
1/2 cup lemon juice(fresh squeezed) + 4 tablespoons zest
1/4 cup superfine sugar

Combine and let steep overnight

Strain juice and add:
1 cup Triple Sec
1 cup tequila(your fav)

Stir or shake to combine. Pour over ice.

You have to think in advance and you can change the Triple Sec and tequila amounts to suit your tastes.

As written, this is a "sipping" margarita. It will sneak up on you in a hurry, but it is delicous.
