Any suggestions. Open to anything really but want to know most about seafood options. TIA

Pik Nik Deli is my favorite down there. We mostly cook out while there so I only know where to drive a golf cart to go drink.

Old Fulton Cafe is one of my favorites. The wife really likes Gabriela's.

I second Old Fulton Seafood Cafe and Gabriela's.
Bellino's is great for Italian, recommend to-go order unless you want to spend 1.5-2 hours dining.

I used to like going to Mickey's when I would pass through there 10ish years ago.

Howdy, Rockport resident, our eateries are declining badly. Old Fulton, esp prior to Harvey, was great, now not so much. Basically all the rest are meh. Also, most are very small, have to be because after summer we are only about 10,000, so wait times are very extended with all the out of towners in Summer. About only new place is Jethro's Texas Bistro, supposed to be good, have not tried it yet. Sorry to be Debbie Downer but our food scene has really deteriorated in the last several years.

Rockport here. We don't eat out a lot. I'll get the the humble brag out of the way. Dinner last night was trout I caught in the morning.

To add to the list, we've eaten at Coasters in Conn Brown Harbor probably 4x this year and its been good and consistent every time. Prices are reasonable.

Another poster mentioned Mickey's. While they are your typical fried seafood and burger place, they have a excellent grouper sandwich. Not always on the menu so you have to ask for it. The service there has always been great for us. All outdoor seating, but they are able to make it comfortable no matter the weather.

In Rockport proper, Copano's is good but its been a minute since I ate there last. Latitudes is fine, but I'm usually underwhelmed. I like Old Fulton Seafood. It feels old school and the waitresses "reflect" that.

You can also post this on the outdoors board. Lot's of posters fish in Rockport and the restaurant question gets asked frequently.

What about Panjo's?

Don't overlook Dorado's at Conn Brown. They have some good specials on oysters, shrimp, bugs, etc….. Outdoor setting, you can watch all the boats come in, and see what they are catching/cleaning. Goof people.

I ate at Copano's when it was one of the previous iterations - 410 Maryland Seafood or something like that. The crab dip appetizer there was phenomenal, dinner was well above average as well. If it's the same folks, definitely recommend that place.

Hell, the bar was worth going for by itself. Hope it's still pretty much the same.
