I was hoping Andy would get a chance at the G-League. He has enough intangibles and if he played in an offense that actually encouraged scoring he might be able to do enough to make it to the NBA.

don't count andy garcia out he will prove you wrong. one of my all time favorite players. he is such a great rebounder and a very very underrated passer. average over 5 assists a game and right at a double double in this league. that's legit.

Awesome to see this. Hope it is just the beginning of more great things to come his way. Was one of my favorites over the last couple of years. Really enjoyed watching him play and how much he seemed to enjoy being part of the Aggie family. I go to a lot of A&M sporting events and would often see him there supporting other teams (tennis, volleyball, softball, etc). Congrats Andy!

I think Garcia is the perfect microcosm of the Buzz era. He was not a particularly good player at Mississippi State, and Buzz brought him here, found a role where he excelled and let him go, and he turned into an all-SEC-defensive-team level player. By any objective measure, the player he was to the player he became was impressive.

And yet... there was so much still in there on the offensive end that we didn't really tap into.
