These last few minutes have been a lot better
The Good News: We won't meet a lot of teams like OSU this year with a high octane offense, good at turning TOs into points with a good transition game.

Isaacs just has to be better than he's been in this game.

We aren't anywhere close to as bad as that team was in non-con. That said if you pay for as much transfer talent as we did with proven D1 hoopers you have to at least somewhat produce. It's one game but this team has a LONG easy to go
Agee also needs to play better and whine less.
We just don't have very many good individual defenders. Been saying since before the season started that this team is probably going to be pretty bad defensively.

Hasn't been particularly good in any of the three games. I have faith he'll start to figure it out as time goes on. Just no shot in a game like this with him playing so poorly though.
Yeah it's not a huge deal yet, he's working his way back from a long time off and he's a rhythm player anyway kinda like Taylor so he's gonna have bad games but this has been terrible.
These officials have an awfully high opinion of themselves. Feels like the whole 2nd half they are in the players' ears telling them why they made a call that isn't consistently called most of the year. You want to be an instructor, then get into coaching. I'm not even contesting the calls, but reeks of high and mighty to me. They even entered Ok State's huddle before last TV timeout to talk to a player.

Griffen has also been awful, just not as dramatically as Isaacs.

Also, what little I've seen of this game, we don't have a glass cleaner. We jack the three and everyone is standing around watching to see if we make it.

our bigs havent impressed me they have allowed OSU get rebounds all game long
I do think this team needs some time to gel and we'll have to figure out which groupings of players can be successful together, but I'm a little disappointed in the lack of basketball instincts in passing/receiving of the ball and spacing during rebounding. Those feel like areas that a team with lots of college experience should not be lacking in.
This game couldn't be more opposite to what we've been watching the last few years.... Except for the shooting percentage. Very used to that piece.
Hill and Holloway shouldn't be in the game together.
We play no half court defense. When we don't shoot lights out and score 90+ we won't have a chance in any game if this is the effort we bring defensively
We have a lot of experience but none of it together and we're playing a different kind of ball. It's just going to take time to get used to each other at game speed. No amount of practice can simulate it.
I'm not trying to just completely write this off but I'm not surprised at all that this game isn't close.

UCF has a terrible defense...so we have that going for us.
We probably won't be underwater by 6-7 on TOs and about -14+ on points off TOs.
That one hurt especially when I was getting excited
Thank God I decided to run errands instead of watch this train wreck. A great football team makes this an easier pill to swallow.
