No it's not. We have absolutely zero roster continuity, we have a coach who's new to coaching at the high-major level with an all-new staff of assistants except for one, it's a new style of basketball for everyone on the team except one guy, etc.
Take, for example, Buzz's first season. He's coached at the high-major level with several different schools, he brought over his entire coaching staff, we had a number of players on the team who had played together before, etc. and that team was still absolutely terrible and lost to Fairfield, Harvard and Temple in the first month of the season. They also had a game against a high level opponent, granted that 2019-20 Gonzaga was a lot better than 2025-26 Oklahoma State but we got blasted by 30 in our home arena.
Anyone who knows any amount of ball has been saying that this team is probably going to get killed a few times, especially early in the season, including even the coach himself.
