I thought we all might need some "comfort food" after a season like that, so I'm bringing the trains back around. Appropriately enough, this train belongs to Bluebell Railway.

And I have a request. Please let's not be overly negative on this thread or start coaching discussions. There are a bunch of other threads for that. Thank you.

Thanks ensign; I hate it here already. Let it be known I'm starting out on the eeyore couch.

I agreed to have the longest possible thread this year only if we had the hardware to repeat in the vein of Miss and Miss St... this is NOT what I signed up for.

Hate to see this thread start so soon, but our team earned it.

Look forward to sipping more Aggie Kool-aid in a few months.

Thumbs up for going with the old stand by, not that this count down has already begun. Trains are my second favorite behind the Texas road trips but I think we need a few off seasons from that theme. I'm not even sure if there is a unique option to go that route anymore beyond Farm Roads and State Hwys that you have already used? Did you consider the blah color sample again? While it wasn't something to look forward to, it did give us deepest postseason run ever.

Let it begin. A nice rain here in Kansas today to wash away all the filth of the 2025 campaign.

You could do one from each state and territory of the US, Canada, and one from each country as an educational experience and be 3 short. You could do Thanksgiving, Christmas and another holiday for the last.

Yes, I am torn about that one! It really did lead to our shortest countdown ever. Ultimately, we did not win, though, so I think we are safe from the Pantones forever.

Perhaps I can find something equally boring to countdown with which will bring us a national title.

Wow this started earlier than I could have ever imagined. But through difficulty resilience is forged! Here's to next season! I'm in for 2025-26 countdown.

I'm thinking my theme will be Texas Historical legends...like tx rangers and such. I'm not sure yet...
I'm a history professor so I'll stay in my wheelhouse, unlike trouble who is the queen baker!
