Thanks for the heads up. I am watching volleyball on tv, so I'll have to get the computer up and running.

TexAgs is showing it live if you are a premium member (see the softball page). I think you are so you can probably watch it. I am not so just hoping to get some updates.

Ags win 7-5 against Baylor tonight.
Taylor Pannel got the start. They tried to extend her to 3 innings and she gave up 4 run after 2 and 2/3. She had them tied in knots in the first 2 innings. Peters came in and close out the final out of the 3rd before throwing 3 shutout innings of her own. I thought she looked really sharp tonight. Mullerlyn started rough in the 7th immediately loading the bases and hitting the 4th batter to plate a run for Baylor. She then buckled down and worked her way out of a bases loaded 0 out situation without giving up another run. She also pitched a scoreless 8th. Sparks worked the final 2 scoreless innings. She looked much better really commanding her pitches and changing speeds well.
Hitting wise Cambree Creager completely shutdown the Aggie bats in her 2 of innings of work for Baylor. She was 67-68mph and moving both up and down well. They went to Lexi Warncke in the bottom of 3 and the Aggie bats exploded for 6 runs. I wasn't making very good mental notes of who all had big hits but seemed we went through the entire lineup banging her around. (I was also watching Volleyball on my phone during the game). Peyton Tanner transfer pitcher from Tennessee handled the Aggie bats pretty well. I think we plated the last run off her in her 3rd inning of work. Kaci West closed out the game for Baylor
Freshman catcher Maddie Sauni was not as sharp behind the plate tonight but still looked good. The spin off Pannel and Peters can make it tough on a catcher. She played well but not the superwoman she was in game 1. I still really love what I see her from behind the plate. No one tested her arm tonight. She had another nice hit over the head of the left fielder to drive in a run.
Overall my take away was a solid game across the board offensively and defensively for the team but nothing that particularly stood out. Expect even more shuffling of people around the field tomorrow when the play MCC. They have a lot of pieces and need to know how they fit together unfortunately because a stupid SEC that is preventing Ariel from participating in practice games they aren't really working toward how they may end up
Edit: After reading through Kay's notes Maddie had a 2 RBI texas leaguer as a part of 6 runs against Warncke. The shot over the left fielder did not plate a run the next hit did.
