I just wanted to make a thread for there to be a discussion about our freshman. It feels like they are superstars in the making. The one I'm most excited about is Partida, but it feels like each one of these guys have the potential to be picked in the first round

Partida is a stud… but kellner is my fav of the group. And if Jorian can figure it out, then he may become the best of the bunch at the plate
I would like to see Jorian get some more at bats this weekend
Our success at recruiting and through the portal has been outstanding. I suspect the momentum will continue to grow upon itself (success breeds success). Earley has done an outstanding job (and will give due props to POS who also set us up for success on finding talent).

I wouldn't mind seeing Partida get an inning on the bump.

They've been very impressive - excellent pickups

Once Jorian continues to develop as an overall hitter and gets the ball on the barrell consistently he is going to be a monster, especially at Olsen in warm weather. Contact is going to go a long way for him. To me it seems like just adjusting to the level of pitching he's going to see.
Partida I think could be an A&M legend by the time he's done. He's one of those that just seems to have God given natural ability to be a tremendous hitter....and we haven't even seen him on the mound yet.
But I'd agree Kellner I might be most excited about. Just the thought that we look like we are going to have lock down stability at the SS position with a guy who can also swing the bat and isn't just in the lineup bc he's the best SS. A SS that can hit for the next 3 years you can build a lot around.

Dude is electric. Watched him throw at state against (40-2) Austin Westlake two years ago. Westlake never had a chance

Saw him all 3 yrs, he was a freak as a sophomore!!
He was their best pitcher as a sophomore and they had one pitcher going to Tennessee, the other going to Oklahoma and another going to Rice!
It was unfair, how he dominated!!
His junior year he only pitched in the playoffs and only if it was a game 3!! He also pitched the state semi finals against the defending state champs and dominated them to make it to the final 2 yrs in a row!
Imagine you're the other team and you got your 3rd best starter coming in and you're facing their ace topping 98mph!!
