Every year there's examples where winning a game against a team like this is actually a negative on your RPI…so by logic not playing at all is actually better for your RPI.

Not what I asked for, where has a win kept us from being in the tourney, hosting or a top seed?

All top programs have teams like this on their slate. This is Oakland's 8th straight game against ranked SEC opponents.

You must forget how late in the season that year we cancelled a mid week game that most knew was because POS was playing the RPI long game
