Sat at end of dugout, quiet game listened to the coaches. Aggies had a comeback win that day IIRC.

Was a sparse crowd at OU.

I know I went to the Saturday game, but think I also went to Friday. I believe that I skipped Sunday. May do the same thing this time around, given the forecast.

Ross Stripling began that season as the closer but made his first start of the season the previous Tuesday against Cal State Fullerton. Threw 7 innings in a 2-0 Aggie win.

He turned around and made the Sunday start in the rubber match of this series and went 6 IP with just 2 runs allowed, helping the Ags get a huge series win.

Once Strip took over that Sunday role, the 2011 rotation might've been the best we've ever had with Stilson and Wacha going on Fridays and Saturdays. If only Big John didn't get hurt at the end of the year

Totally agree ….. team still made it to Omaha somehow . If Stilson had not been hurt , that team could have made some noise at CWS .
