Glad I spent my evening watching Team USA instead.
Walked 12 times in the game and lose 8-7. That's not good baseball. This lineup's approach when strikes are pounded in the zone is not what it needs to be. The SEC will whip our ass if we don't learn to produce runs when they are gifted to us. Simply not good enough

Terrible performance. Being up by 4 and then 3 and blowing both leads is a pretty bad collapse. Approach at the plate was awful in terms of looking at strikes right down the middle and hacking at balls.

The OU TV announcers did a great job of providing an entertaining and unbiased call of the game while also showing sympathy for all players who got injured. It is nice to hear such quality play-by-play by these announcers.

First inning we hit line drives off the pitcher and a lineout to first with runners in scoring position. Can't ask for much more there and could have been 3 more runs.

They handled it really well. They were pretty bad though at times haha.

You know we were up four because of an error and a wild pitch.
But still, keeping the lead would've been optimal.

I should have posted it weeks ago and worn the roasting, but we simply don't have the arms for SEC play. We are going to lose a lot of 8-3 type games. And good lord…we have some really talented hitters, I hope at some point the they tell Earley "f you b" we're not watching first pitch fastball strikes anymore.
I'll continue to pull for this team, but I have been trying to manage my expectations after our first series of the season.

Even the 4 run spot in the first occurred because of a Sooner E not a clutch hit.

Some of you enjoy losing more so you can dump on him than actually winning. It's weird and pathetic.
I hate OU. We need to take the next 2. Thankfully we won't be wearing those dreadful uniforms in any event. The only thing that could make those worse is bell bottoms and sans-a-belt waste.
Still extremely concerned about coaching and our bullpen depth, especially with J-Stew going down
