If their friday and saturday pitchers are both over 3.0 ERA they are going to need to rely heavily on their BP and bats. I think they are capable of making Omaha, but if their aces have struggled against the OOC schedule, I think there are plenty of question marks even if they host a regional.

I have been really impressed with their arm talent. However if they can't throw strikes it might not matter. 20 walks in two games...
Virtually every team in the conference will have starters with an ERA over 3. Right now their Saturday guy has a sub 2 ERA. They can pitch.
A&M would have had a lot more than 16 runs through two games but for the strength of Sooner pitching.
A&M outscored OU 27-25, so A&M's arms were slightly better than OU's over the three-game stretch.
Kade Anderson was the best pitcher in the SEC last year and his ERA was over 3.0
What I saw was OU trot out arm after arm that had velos in the mid to high 90s. That is a good pitching staff and I think their Friday and Saturday guys will end up being very good SEC starters.

They also only batted in 8 innings in 2 of the games so we were actually equal if that's how you want to measure it.
Too many walks, don't think either will make the top three in the conference.

LOL. OU definitely finishes top 5 in the sec barring major injury. That staff is loaded and they will score plenty of runs. Wouldn't surprise me at all if they end up in Omaha.
