Best defensive play of the year? One of the best in the last couple years?
Bear was fired up at the end...
He has a cannon!
He reminds me of Nick Banks we had the outfield

No offense to Nick. But he was no where near the level of Holt or Naquin.
Ha! They def went back and back and back to that tape. I found it to be entertaining.Wabs said:
I wonder if the UF announcers are still crying about it

The camera didn't show if the runner was tagged before his hand touched home. But it did show that the home plate umpire was in perfect position to make the call. And Bear's reaction said it all.
Everyone in the world knew he was out. The UF announcers, while understandably homers, were simply reaching for straws.

Wow, dramatic much?
You guys need to toughen up, you're taking it pretty damn personally, announcers do that all the time they'll look at it and call it a way and then be like wow I'm surprised. Happens in the pros and college all the time. There wasn't anything unprofessional about that. They seemed like two earnest guys that were doing their job and we're Florida announcers.
My God you guys just need to concentrate more on the game. If that is the worst announcing you've heard all year I don't know what the hell you're watching.
Some of you go from emotions of wonderful baseball, our players are fantastic to basically spitting on players and announcers. Try to find a more even keel you'll be happier in the long run. I promise you. Life is just too damn short to get this upset over two guys who were very complementary to A&M the whole time.
That's the last I'll say about it but seriously there's a lot more important things in life than getting upset about announcers that weren't even that bad.
Try to enjoy the games more. No one plays perfect ball. No one.
Im not sure what to say if you can't hear the difference in "regular bias" of home team annoyncers versus the over the top bias these guys displayed. Why do you care so much that we want to focus on it for just a second?
Worst announcing ive heard all year? Maybe, maybe not - bottom half for sure. Most biased announcing? Yes, by a large margin.
Nobody is taking it personally, but ridiculing these guys before we move on to the next series is perfectly warranted.

The old baseball rule is... never make the third out at third base. Getting aggressive at home plate here is fine unless it is the ninth inning..

Isn't the full adage: Never make the first or third out at third base?

Yes. This is the phrase.
Making the third out at home is a risk that most coaches would do. If there is a 50/50 chance most coaches will send the runner home and put the pressure on the defense to make the play.
