Kinda reminded me of Aschenbeck. Not blazing fast but able to locate, change speeds, some movement...like actual pitching.
Also, didn't realize he was the closer with alot of success for national championship at Blinn. That's alot of high leverage situations, even if it is junior college.
Most this man up in the pecking order.
Cooper Powell looked better some other bullpen guys too.

Do we think we could see him at all this weekend? Feels like he's shown enough that if we go down a couple runs again he could be a bridge guy rather than the couple guys they've thrown out there on Friday after Sdao the last two weeks

Yes. He's the son of Jimmy's youngest son, Randy, who spent some time with the A&M Foundation.
I bet he's definitely moved up in the pecking order over someone like Vargas.
Tough to peg if he'd be over Cunningham or not. Cunningham has some innings where he looks good and then some where it completely unravels.

I hope we see him this weekend, we need guys we can trust more than those guys that threw last Friday for the postseason

They expected Cunningham to be good but he has struggled.
I would love to see Bond get a look this weekend.
Hopefully he isnt shaken by the opportunity, only stirred to work harder.
