Just don't understand not moving Royo in that situation. Lefty pitcher but he had a long delivery. We're down by 1. Gotta get someone in scoring position. If Royo isn't fast enough then put Nut in to steal a bag.

I wish we got 2, but we did the bare minimum of winning 1 when we needed to. I'll take controlling our destiny for a national seed by winning 2/3 next weekend at Olsen any day.

This is the epitome of a crybaby loser mentality. You are complaining about freshcorn being brought in and saying what other pitchers could have been brought in? Freshcorn threw five inning and gave up one run. He pitched awesome. Why would you suggest someone else ?

Ags control their destiny if they sweep State
2/3 will be close -- depending on tomorrow's results
A&M is probably 5th in the SEC pecking order at the moment

Awesome. Now tell me how Partida being out, Hacopian still being hobbled, and Duer having to play in left instead of Kiel (assuming Duer would be DH otherwise) didn't significantly impact our chances of winning this weekend.
Pitching was about what we'd expect for this year, but our offense is definitely hampered by all the injuries. Without the pleasant surprise of Royo going off we get swept.
Injuries are part of the game....dealing with them is part of the road

Those things all can contribute but to say it was on the coaches "period" is dumb. It was a joint effort to lose this game.
