Daniel Jackson, Georgia
Georgia's Daniel Jackson batted a team-best .600 (6-for-10) with two doubles, two home runs, 14 total bases, 1.400 slugging percentage, .750 on-base percentage, seven RBI, one stolen base and drew six walks including one intentional as Georgia swept LSU to clinch the SEC regular season title. Jackson had multiple hits in each game of the LSU series with at least one extra base hit in each contest. He made two starts at catcher, one at DH and posted perfect fielding in 20 total chances.

So what's the problem? Reads like a pretty insane weekend from the Jackson kid.

In a Game 1 he could have gone 0 for 3 with three Ks and his stats still would have been better than Jacksons.

Royo played two out of 4 games on the week. Give him the Player of Two Games award. Sorta feel like you need to actually play the whole week to earn POtW awards, ya know?

I understand. Just comparing stats and giving a little acknowledgement.

I understand yours and the basic SEC metric of playing time/games played having weight, but the line-item comparison is no doubt in his favor.

Yea have no qualms with this. Georgia kid got on base 12 times compared to 8 from Royo. For the entire week you have to tip your hat to the Georgia kid.

Royo would have got Player of the Weekend if there were one

realistically Royo would've had a much better chance to win POTW if we had won game 3. hard to argue with Jackson going nuts while also sweeping and clinch the sec championship
