Seems like we need another MB and Opp from high school or portal?
I'm sure 2026 recruiting may be done. I think we could potentially add about 5 portal players next off season! So that mixed with our young talent should be fun to look out for!Orome said:

Would be amazing to have a top libero. They make a huge difference. I was at a lovb match where the Asian international liberos put on a showcase. Every dig was a perfect pass to the setter.Ag4eva95 said:
I think most of our girls will finish as top 75 players, not that rankings matter. Gabi will be a top 20 player before the season is over! She's legit. I think she will be our first all American at libero
One of the greatest liberos in the game ever for the USA was a OH for us before the libero became a thing.Ag4eva95 said:
Agreed! I think Gomez had a chance to be that first potential all American had she got another season. She was as legit as they get. It's been a long time since we've had anyone be close to a top libero or passer in our conference. Kelsey Black started off as a libero, and led us to one of the greatest 3-0 upsets of TU. Megan Pendergast was a Nebraska transfer that was a top 50 recruit in the day. We finally have a coach who understands the importance of serve receive and defense. Bird and Corbelli used liberos/DS in walk on capacity only(minus Gomez). But to be fair, that was the way due to a small number of scholarships being avalible!
hopefully all in the Open division!taylorswift13_ said:
All 5 of our 2026 commits and their club teams qualified to nationals, which will be in Dallas this year June 25th - July 3rd

Texas A&M has decided to fully fund every roster position, increasing its total scholarship allotment by more than 150, AD Trev Alberts says. Aggies join Tennessee, Clemson and some others in completely scholarshipping each sport.

I remember coaching a 15-Under team in a tournament outside Philly. They were running multiple sites and each site had multiple courts. Was definitely a logistic hurdle as participant in the tournament.taylorswift13_ said:
I didn't grow up in the volleyball world and have no kids yet. I'm always baffled by how many teams they squeeze into these tournaments! I can only imagine the nightmare stories of club volleyball many on her have experienced lol
My wife and I are so glad we are done done done with club volleyball. First year free of it after about 10 years in the system. With a competitive player, you only get maybe November off each year between school and club seasons. Otherwise you are playing through June if you go to nationals immediately followed by club tryout and then school tryouts then school season.taylorswift13_ said:

Depending on the level of play and if the club has clout, we've played in tournaments where each day was at a different site, the wave started at 7:30am and our team required hotel is on the other side of the city!akm91 said:I remember coaching a 15-Under team in a tournament outside Philly.
