Great interview and interesting to hear his take on the state of the sport outside of the actual game itself.

We're only hearing his side of the story with Una Vajagic. But in my heart of hearts I wholeheartedly believe she'd tell a very different story. It was absolutely obvious to the entire volleyball world that she was the next super stud on that team. A team that consistently competes for national championships and plays in the undisputed top volleyball conference in America...something else had to be going on for her to shag a** out of there less than 48 hrs after their last match.

Were about to see coaches retire or not put their heart and soul into their program because of what is happening.

It just feels "not cool" at best to wait a couple of days after transfer portal closes to announce a retirement like this. Anyone on the team can transfer in next window if they don't like the new TBD coach / situation but they lose the spring semester at new school.

Same thing just happened at Florida State as well with a long-time coach deciding to "not extend his contract" this week.

Interesting indeed!! Brings in another setter for competition, possibly for a 6'2. Gives us another setter to practice with if Margot isn't ready for spring training! Nicholson was screwed with her coach leaving after the portal closed…

Forgot about that. Will give her a fun final season on a team with lots of eyeballs on.

I was hoping Lily Nicholson might be an option when the FSU coach resigned, but wasn't sure about timing of when players could release and still get enrolled in time for Spring. In general I think a senior setter option / insurance for 2026 is great and the roster spot will still be there for 2027 incoming class.

I am very high on Kirra, just not sure Margot status.

Yeah this can help us not rush Margot back and continue rehabbing all spring! Nicholson and Musgrove will allow us to run full squads against each other in the spring

I think Morrison really values having a competitive gym, this will be a huge boost for this young team

Her sister was 3xAll-Big 12 second team for Walton at Oklahoma.
