Wasnt A&M ranked 6th? Wouldnt that translate to a 2 seed?

I saw all four 3 seeds won. Dis the committee do a bad job seeding? was there any controversy?

The ncaa selection committee doesn't use the AVCA Poll to determine seeding, they have factors but a lot of it is based on RPI, which had us number 10. We didn't have too many strong non conference games and the SEC was really really bad at the bottom. Before the tourney started we had 1 top ten win and 4 top 25 wins.
