As seconds ticked away on Texas A&M’s 51-41 college football victory over Mississippi State, chants of “one more year” rained down like a verbal monsoon.

Technically, those showers of adulation could have been directed at receiver Mike Evans or coach Kevin Sumlin, who USC is targeting in its coaching search.

Of course, those pleas from 88,504 Aggies were directed at Johnny Manziel, the greatest quarterback ever to play on the hallowed grass of Kyle Field.
