Observations following a big weekend

• Following the big news of Otaro Alaka’s commitment on Sunday night, I’m ready to call this the most impressive front seven haul I’ve seen Texas A&M welcome since I began following this stuff more than 20 years ago. Last year’s group is probably in the conversation and the ’97 class that included state No. 1 Roylin Bradley and Rocky Bernard probably ranks second behind that one if we’re counting back two full decades.
