At the beginning of his recruitment Nederland defensive tackle DeShawn Washington made it clear that he was a lifelong Texas Longhorn fan.

That all changed after one visit to Texas A&M.

At the Aggies' first junior day Washington wasted no time picking A&M over Texas, falling in love with the campus and the coaching staff.

Washington has been committed for almost a year now and his recent official visit just reaffirmed why he went with A&M in the first place.
