Aggies push Kentucky to two overtimes, fall 70-64

Not a soul gave Texas A&M a chance to even keep it respectable against the nation's No. 1 team, but the Danuel House-led Aggies fought to come up just short of a monumental upset — by about fifteen feet.

Even without injured leading scorer Jalen Jones, twice on Saturday afternoon the Aggies seemed tantalizingly close enough to grabbing a monumental college basketball upset of top-ranked Kentucky.

In reality, though, they were 15 feet away.

Fifteen feet — that’s the distance from rim to free throw line. That’s where Texas A&M came up short in a 70-64 double-overtime loss before 10,411 at Reed Arena.
