2016 Airline (Bossier City, La.) offensive lineman Colton Prater's spring commitment to Texas A&M ended his recruiting process, and he couldn't be more pleased. Now, with early graduation next on the block, he's focusing on his bond with his future position coach.

Coming into the spring, Prater knew it was his opportunity to show schools like Texas A&M that he was worthy of a scholarship offer. After he performed well enough in the spring to earn the praises of Aggie offensive line coach Dave Christensen, he landed the offer he wanted.

Prater committed to Texas A&M shortly after, and he hasn't wavered since.

As it turns out, the timing was fortunate.
