All eyes were on the Texas A&M defense heading into the Aggies' week one game against Arizona State. All offseason the top defenders in the state had wondered what John Chavis would be able to do with an A&M defense that had struggled mightily the past few years.

After a 38-17 win over the Sun Devils where the defense racked up eight sacks, they had their answer. The performance didn't go unnoticed by many of the top recruits, including Trinity's Chris Daniels.
