California DE Javaris Steward keeping an eye on the Aggies

Originally from Denton, 2017 Pomona (Calif.) defensive end Javaris Steward is looking at returning home for college. Near the top of his list of programs of interest is Texas A&M, and he's seeking to take in a game at Kyle Field when he can.

Football Recruiting: 2017 Pomona (Calif.) DE Javaris Steward

Formerly of Denton Ryan, '17 DE Javaris Steward now has a new home in Pompano, Calif. following the untimely death of a close family member. The Aggies have been keeping close tabs on the 6-3, 225-pounder for a while now, and his move out west hasn't changed anything as far as the Texas A&M Football staff is concerned.

"I just spoke to Coach (Jeff) Banks last week," Steward said. "He's been keeping in touch with me and is trying to get me down to see them play."
