Alabama 41, Texas A&M 23: Defense in review

For one quarter, the Texas A&M defense looked alarmingly like its 2013 and 2014 iterations. For the three quarters that followed, it looked like a top-10 unit. John Chavis' defense wasn't perfect against Alabama, but it flashed its ultimate potential in an at-times dominant performance.

That was John Chavis talking the media on Tuesday after pouring over the Alabama game tape. For those of you who haven't listened to many of Chief's interviews, let's just say the man has no problem at all telling it like it is.
