The argument can be made — and substantiated — that Texas A&M's offensive showing against Ole Miss was the worst of the Kevin Sumlin era. Now the Aggies face questions that need answers in short order if the system is to be salvaged.

OXFORD, Miss. — That thud you heard was the sound of Texas A&M’s offense hitting rock bottom.

Seriously, the offensive ineptitude demonstrated in A&M’s 23-3 Southeastern Conference football loss to Ole Miss on Saturday night was the Aggies’ worst showing since Kevin Sumlin took over as coach in 2012.

Go ahead and argue that last year’s 59-0 debacle at Alabama was even more disastrous. It wasn’t.
