Baseball has changed throughout the years. Its properties and attributes have morphed and been mutated as eras have come and gone. Philosophies and mechanics have been argued and debated, and I'm sure some of you will find a problem with the explanations or thought processes outlined in this article.

I'm fine with that. I'm by no means the be-all, end-all in baseball strategy.
