Football Recruiting: 2017 Plano East DT Deiontae Watts

Watts missed most of his junior season to focus on his academics, but that hasn’t stopped schools from around the country from taking notice. He went from a few offers to picking up big ones from Texas A&M, Texas and Baylor in short order.

It’s been a whirlwind spring for the, 6-3, 300-pound tackle, but it’s a welcome experience.

“It’s been real crazy,” said Watts. “It blew up all of sudden.
