Despite watching the Tide dominate the stat sheet in the first half, the Aggies took a one point lead on the opening possession after the break. Alabama then surged and looked unbeatable the rest of the way, handing A&M its first loss.

A short-lived Texas A&M lead succumbed to a rash of errors — some self-inflicted, some forced — and top-ranked Alabama stormed to a 33-14 Southeastern Conference football victory over the sixth-ranked Aggies on Saturday afternoon.

The Aggies (6-1, 4-1 in the SEC) took a 14-13 lead on Trevor Knight’s 25-yard touchdown pass early in the third quarter.
