Aggies' playoff hopes dashed in horrific loss to Mississippi State

It may have looked like a beautiful Saturday in Starkville, but it felt like a horror movie to Texas A&M. The Aggies failed to contain the Mississippi State running game, and their playoff dreams were crushed as a result.

STARKVILLE, Miss. — Video will confirm that – yes –  Mississippi State quarterback Nick Fitzgerald was indeed wearing a gray helmet.

He only seemed to be wearing a goalie mask.

Fitzgerald attacked the No. 4 Aggies like a relentless villain in a slasher film.

He rushed for 182 yards and two touchdowns in a 35-28 upset of A&M.
