Truth in numbers: Scoring A&M's jump from the Big 12 to the SEC

Texas A&M is sending nine players to the NFL Combine. The ten-team Big 12 is sending just 18. As Olin Buchanan writes, this is just one more indication that the Aggies' move to the SEC has paid off in a big way.

A recently released list of players invited to participate in the NFL combine showed that Texas A&M, with nine, will have half as many players participating as the 10-team Big 12 Conference. It does raise eyebrows that one team would produce 50-percent as many prime NFL prospects as an entire “power five” conference.

Maybe that should not come as a surprise, though.
