Freshmen impress, offensive line still a point of concern in A&M victory

Kellen Mond and other Texas A&M freshmen impressed in Saturday's, 45-21 victory over Louisiana at Kyle Field. But shuffling continued along the offensive line, raising the question if the Aggies are ready for the SEC gauntlet ahead.

Coach Kevin Sumlin offered a glimpse into Texas A&M’s football future during Saturday’s 45-21 victory over Louisiana.

Freshman quarterback Kellen Mond threw touchdown passes to freshmen receivers Jhamon Ausbon and Camron Buckley. Freshman running back Jacob Kibodi rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown. Freshman linebacker Anthony Hines posted a sack and forced a fumble.

Mond also ran in a touchdown. For the first time in school history four true freshmen scored touchdowns in a single game.
