Defensive end Earl Barquet has been reeling in offers from across the nation, and the Aggies added their hat to the ring on Thursday. Along with a group of 2019 and 2020 prospects, Barquet is planning a trip to Texas A&M this spring.

Momentum is building for Marrero (La.) John Ehret defensive end Earl Barquet. The 6-foot-3.5, 235-pound defender has piqued the interest of college programs across the southeast, and on Thursday, he reported that Texas A&M extended a scholarship offer.

Defensive ends coach Terry Price is leading the Aggies’ recruiting efforts, and Barquet plans to visit College Station on April 2.
