As we learned last week, even an objectively unappealing Saturday slate can give us some of the wildest moments of the season. But this week’s schedule, filled with marquee matchups and conference openers, seems both enticing and sure to give us exactly what we want from the sport we love.
We’ll have early Heisman favorites in play, potential College Football Playoff teams proving their worth and, of course, matchups like Mike Leach vs. Chip Kelly to keep us entertained.
