NASHVILLE — Although Texas A&M senior receiver Ainias Smith would have eligibility in 2024, he’d rather this season be his last with the Aggies.

Smith has aspirations to play in the NFL.

But if circumstances did result in his playing at A&M in 2024, Smith would look forward to playing against rival Texas.

Texas joins the SEC next season. The Aggies and Longhorns have not played since 2011.
