HOOVER, Ala. – Texas A&M enters the Southeastern Conference with great ambition, but maybe without great ammunition.

A championship is perhaps a too lofty goal for A&M’s first season in the SEC, though not for the reason some may think.

The Aggies have inexperience and uncertainty at quarterback, which is obviously not an advantageous way to enter the strongest defensive league in college football.
