Texas A&M has reached its bye week, and it came just in time after a damaging 71-68 home loss to Ole Miss. That’s the second SEC home loss, just seven games into an 18-game schedule.

Winning at home is so critical in Power 5 collegiate basketball because winning on the road is extremely difficult. The Aggies did get one back a couple of weeks ago when they went into Baton Rouge and slipped away with a 73-69 win, but the road ahead looks anything but easy.
