COLLEGE STATION — Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin and seven players met with a crowded room of reporters Friday at the Bright Football Complex in advance of fall camp practice number one on Friday evening.

Sumlin addressed the personnel heading into camp and announced that a few names have been left off of the 105-man roster.

"(Incoming freshman) Edmund Ray did not qualify," Sumlin said. "He'll be going to junior college. (Fellow freshman) Alonzo Williams is still pending NCAA certification.
