A standout running back for Waco Midway, 2027 Lathan Whisenton earned a Texas A&M offer this summer and made an August trip to Aggieland. With his recruitment still in its early stages, there are a number of aspects of the A&M program beginning to stick out to Whisenton.

2027 Waco (TX) Midway running back Lathan Whisenton‍ earned his Texas A&M offer this summer following a strong camp showing, and this fall he is off and running on the field for the 3-1 Midway Panthers.

At the end of August, he was back in College Station as the Aggies opened the Mike Elko era against Notre Dame in front of over 100,000 Aggie fans, and the visit made a strong impression on the young back.

“It was a great atmosphere,” Whisenton said.
