2027 Little Rock (AR) Robinson CB Hakim Frampton commits to Texas A&M

Texas A&M has gone into the state of Arkansas and plucked a commitment from one of the top 2027 players in the Natural State as cornerback Hakim Frampton has announced his verbal pledge to the Maroon & White today.
A product of Robinson High School in Little Rock, Frampton spent much of his life and prep career at Narbonne High School in Harbor City, California. The 6-foot, 165-pounder chooses the Aggies over offers from Auburn, Washington, Arkansas, Indiana and others.
Speed is the name of the game for Frampton. His wiry frame and running style are somewhat reminiscent of Kelshaun Johnson, who the Aggies signed in the class of 2025. He's shifty and dynamic with the ball in his hands, and he seemingly has a knack for finding space in traffic when on offense. As a defensive back, he flashes great instincts and recognition. There's also apparent aggression in one-on-ones in the passing game, as well as with his tackling. He possesses skills that could factor in on either side of the ball, but he'll likely start his career as a cover man.
You can view some of his sophomore highlights below.
He is the Aggies’ third commitment of the 2027 class, joining QB Jayce Johnson and OL DeMarrion Johnson, and he is the first defensive addition to the class.
