2026 Pascagoula (MS) safety Tylan Wilson commits to Texas A&M
The momentum continues to build on the recruiting front, and the Aggies have picked up yet another big-time defensive addition as Pascagoula (MS) safety Tylan Wilson announced his Texas A&M decision.
The 6-foot-3, 185-pound defensive back is a long, rangy ballhawk on the back end of the Pascagoula defense. A multi-sport standout, he quickly adjusts, locates and attacks the ball. He also brings a nice physicality to the table, and he gets downhill in a hurry.
Safeties coach Ish Aristide led the Aggies’ recruiting efforts, and he becomes the 26th member of Texas A&M’s 2026 recruiting class. He joins Chance Collins at safety, and a defensive backfield group which also includes Brandon Arrington, Victor Singleton and Camren Hamiel
One of the top prospects in the deep south, Wilson chose the Aggies over fellow finalists Arkansas and Clemson, and he held offers from across the country before narrowing his search.
In addition to football, Wilson is also a standout in basketball and baseball.
