Lee, Reed-Adams & York to represent Texas A&M at SEC Media Days
On Monday, the Southeastern Conference announced the player representatives for SEC Media Days 2025.
Along with head coach Mike Elko, defensive back Will Lee III, offensive lineman Ar’maj Reed-Adams and linebacker Taurean York will appear in Atlanta next week.
SEC Media Days begins on Monday, July 15, at the College Football Hall of Fame and Omni Atlanta Hotel, and A&M will take the stage on Thursday, July 17.
For York, this will be his second SEC Kickoff experience as he made the trip to Dallas last July.
A transfer from Kansas State, Lee earned second-team All-SEC acclaim in 2024 — his first as an Aggie. The cornerback appeared in all 12 regular-season contests for the Maroon & White, accumulating 42 total tackles (39 solo stops) to go along with two interceptions and 10 total pass breakups. The St. Louis native scored A&M’s lone touchdown in the Lone Star Showdown with a 93-yard pick-six of Quinn Ewers.
Entering his senior season, Reed-Adams is the third-highest rated returning interior lineman in the league according to Pro Football Focus with a grade of 82.3. After starting every game at right guard in 2024, the DeSoto native was a preseason second-team Walter Camp All-American. Known for slamming a folding chair before games, Reed-Adams was elected a 2025 captain by his peers, an achievement that was announced in April.
The captain of the Aggie defense, York accumulated 82 total tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and one interception during his sophomore season in 2024. After earning Freshman All-America honors in 2023, the Temple product is entering his second season on A&M’s leadership group. Ahead of his junior campaign, Pro Football Focus rated York as the second-best returning linebacker in all of college football, and he earned first-team Walter Camp All-American honors in the 2025 preseason.
