Terence Kitchens was A&M's kicker in 1999 and 2000 and is now a special teams contributor on TexAgs Radio. He called in on Wednesday to discuss the science behind Taylor Bertolet's up-and-down first season.

Notes from Terence Kitchens interview

* He thinks there are several things going on with Taylor Bertolet’s kicking game. In his first couple of kicks last week, he had slowed down going to the ball and seemed to have more control on his approach until he had one blocked and one he missed. Looking at the back view, he was able to notice that Bertolet swings his body through the ball to generate his power.
