Recruiting never stops across the SEC, and it is once again time to dive into the latest news, notes and headlines from the SEC area recruiting trails.

Big Gets

S Bralan Womack‍ pledges to Auburn

OL Darius Gray‍ announces for South Carolina

OL Kamari Blair‍ flips from Gamecocks to Volunteers

Headlines

Oklahoma hits the trenches – The Sooners added a couple of DLs to their 2026 class. First, they tapped into California for James Carrington‍, who had previously been committed to Florida State. Then they went to Virginia for T-Ron Richardson‍ over Virginia Tech, Penn State, Syracuse and South Carolina.

LB Izayia Williams‍ flips from Ole Miss to Florida State – From Tavares (FL), his Ole Miss pledge did not dampen the Seminoles’ pursuit, and they were able to pull off the flip. Williams was regarded as the top prospect in Ole Miss’ class at the time of his flip.

Big visit Saturday – Game days have arrived, so that means top prospects will make their way to college campuses across the SEC. Many marquee match-ups are on the road or at neutral sites such as Texas at Ohio State, Alabama at Florida State, LSU at Clemson and Tennessee vs. Syracuse at Mercedes-Benz in Atlanta. However, there are a few SEC programs at home. Kentucky kicks things off Saturday with Toledo, and Georgia is next with Marshall. Arkansas hosts Alabama A&M, followed by Oklahoma-Illinois State, Florida-Long Island, Texas A&M-UTSA, Vanderbilt-Charleston Southern and Ole Miss-Georgia State.

New name to know

QB Bryson Kennedy‍, Little Rock (AR) Central – 2029

Buzz has been growing for years about the 6-foot-3, 225-pound, strong-armed, athletic quarterback from the Natural State.

Equipped with the ability to change arm angles, throw off platform, adjust his velocity and touch and push the ball deep with the flick of his wrist, Kennedy quickly draws attention. He is also comfortable on the move and shows the ability to feel and escape pressure while keeping his eyes downfield.

He studies former UCA QB Will McElvain, as well as the likes of Shedeur Sanders, Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson and Cam Newton. He is not afraid of hard work, and he prides himself on playing an inspired brand of ball.

The younger brother of Miami commit and standout defensive lineman Anthony Kennedy, Bryson has already received offers from Arkansas Baptist, Arkansas, Auburn, Miami, Louisville, Missouri, SMU, Appalachian State and Southern Miss. He visited Miami, SMU and Missouri, and he camped at Ohio State this summer. This upcoming weekend, he will visit Miami with his brother as the Hurricanes host Notre Dame.

In addition to football, he competes in the 100m, 200m and 400m on the track, and he plays basketball. He reports a 4.7 40-yard dash, and he can dunk a basketball.
